Exam

19 Feb 2012 19:35

Hi all,

In order to prepare to the exam I suggest going over the HWs and solving old exams from this course and others (e.g., Eli Biham's course). An example of an exam I once wrote for a similar course appears here:
http://webcourse.cs.technion.ac.il/236506/Winter2009-2010/ho/WCFiles/Winter06a.pdf

The exam's cover page is available here

Good luck,
Benny

Hi all,

1. Noa has set-up a forum for the course at
http://groups.google.com/group/intro-to-modern-cryptography-fall-2011-2012
I am not promising to visit it, but you may use it to communicate with each other.
(Thanks Noa!)

2. I will leave your graded solutions of Ex5 (as well as other ex's that some of you did not take) in an envelope on my door at Wednesday. My room is located at the EE Computer Engineering building room 203.
BTW, I recommend going over all Ex's including the last one (especially if you did not solve it).

3. There are 3 questions at the exams, you will have 3 hours and you can bring any *written* material but no electronic devices.

Good luck in the exam,

Benny

Grading

26 Jan 2012 06:52

For the purpose of grading, I will take into account only the best 4-out-of-5 exercises for each one of you.
This means that you may choose *not* to submit Ex5 (assuming you submitted all other 4 Ex's).

signature on another message.

3: In the description of decryption the role of c1 and c2 is swapped.
